​Pop Tondos 

​This new series of work, started during the covid era, is a complete change from my landscape work.  It creates colourful and exciting, unique compositions with tactile mixed media.  All the images used are totally unique and created using many ideas from sketchbooks and my computer - using pure experimentation with line drawings, my extensive range of photos from many years, together with the vector and bitmap software on Corel.  I used this software extensively when generating diagrams for my husbands book on Geothermal Energy and then employed it as another creative tool in the studio for this new series.

Materials used include vibrant liquid and full body acrylics, premium quality inks, and various types of acrylic medium, together with textural materials such as bronze castings from a lathe  and gold leaf.  (Click on each image for details)
